My Story

I grew up summering in the Adirondack Mountains where I developed a love for fly fishing on the Ausable River. That is where I discovered the sport.

I began my guiding career in the Florida Keys in the late 90's. It was there that I developed my love for saltwater flats fishing and began to hone my skills as a guide. Having guided in the Seychelles, the Keys and the Adirondacks, I moved to the East End of Long Island 13 years ago to begin the next page of my life as a Captain.

Living and fishing on the East End of Long Island is a very special thing. The lifestyle here is truly lovely and the fishery is robust and very diverse. The different seasons and the baitfish that they usher in allow us to approach the fishery in several different ways, making each part of the season unique and interesting.
